# XH-1 Research

Research repository for the **XH-1**, a custom **128-core RISC-V processor** and the first processor in the XH-series.

||||
|
||||
This repository contains the research, experiments, architectural investigations, design decisions, prototypes, simulations, benchmarks, and technical notes produced during the development of XH-1.
|
||||
|
||||
The purpose of this repository is to capture the **research and development process behind the processor**, including ideas that may ultimately be implemented, ideas that are rejected, experimental results, and questions that remain unresolved.

|
||||
This is intentionally separate from the main XH-1 documentation. The main documentation describes the processor's current architecture and implementation, while this repository records the research that leads to those decisions.
